Okoume wood, also known as Okoume Mahogany, is a light-colored wood prized for its workability and affordability. Sourced from central Africa, it's a popular option for various interior applications and veneered plywood.
Overview
Light pink to reddish-brown heartwood with a distinct whitish-grey sapwood, Easy to machine and glue, with good stability, Moderate drying process with minimal warping, Not recommended for untreated exterior applications due to susceptibility to rot and insects.
